Viguié Schmidt & Associés (VSA) advises Astanor, Redalpine and French Tech Seed on Umiami’s €32.5 million fundraising round
Start-up Umiami is the French specialist in vegetable meat. Viguié Schmidt & Associés advised Astanor, Redalpine and French Tech Seed (Bpifrance) in raising €32.5 million. These funds are the main investors, alongside BPI’s Sociétés de projets industriels fund.
With this new round of funding, Umiami will be able to continue its development, including the redevelopment of an industrial site in Alsace, sales in the United States and R&D.
VSA advised Astanor, Redalpine and French Tech Seed (Bpifrance) with a team composed of :
- Louis Chenard, partner, and Chloé de Grieck, associate, in Corporate / Venture Capital.
- Christel Alberti, partner, and Mélanie Teixeira, lawyer, in tax.
