David Scemla is active in mergers and acquisitions and private equity . He also assists his clients in litigation arising in these fields. Prior to participating in the establishment of the firm, he had been a partner at Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier since 2002 after joining the firm in 1992. He was seconded for a year (2001) to the New York-based firm Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz. He co-founded in 2012 SLVF, which eventually merged with Viguié Schmidt to become Viguié Schmidt & Associés in July 2017.
David holds a DEA de droit des affaires et droit économique (post-graduate degree in business law) from Université de Paris II Panthéon-Assas. He is also a founding member of DCF – Droit, Chiffre, Finance, an interprofessional association.
