Viguié Schmidt & Associés (VSA) alongside Fresh Food Village in connection with its sale to the Menissez Group

Viguié Schmidt & Associés (VSA) advised Fresh Food Village, a specialist in bakery products, in connection with its sale to the Menissez Group, a well-established industrial player in the bakery, par-baked, and frozen goods sector.

Founded in 1995 by its current CEO, Jean-Marc Krief, Fresh Food Village has established itself as a leading player in the production and distribution of premium bakery products. The company offers a wide range of goods marketed both under private labels and under its own brand, Regent’s Park. With strong expertise and innovation capabilities, the company achieved a turnover of approximately €60 million in 2024.

This transaction marks a new stage of development for Fresh Food Village, which will benefit from the Menissez Group’s industrial and commercial support to further strengthen its market position and accelerate growth in France and internationally.

The VSA team advising the sellers included partner Louis Chenard and associate Louise Dilé for corporate/M&A matters, partner Christel Alberti and associate Mélanie Teixeira for tax-related aspects, as well as Iñaki Saint-Esteben partner and Mélissa Merle, associate, for competition law aspects.

The buyers were advised by Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in this transaction.
