Sonepar, an independent family-owned group and world leader in the distribution of electrical equipment, solutions and services to professionals, has acquired a majority stake in Alliantz, a private distributor of photovoltaic and energy efficiency solutions and a major player in the French photovoltaic market.<\/p>\n
With this transaction, Sonepar intends to strengthen its presence in the photovoltaic market, a growing and particularly strategic sector in which the group already operates in many countries. It will also enable it to leverage its distribution network and develop its technical capabilities to offer its solutions to specialized electrical and solar installers.<\/p>\n
This acquisition will also be a unique opportunity to leverage the Group’s purchasing capabilities and to offer a wide range of highly technical products and innovative solutions throughout France.<\/p>\n
