Vigui\u00e9 Schmidt & Associ\u00e9s (VSA) is advising Orsero S.p.A., alongside the Italian law firm Gatti Pavesi Bianchi Ludovici, on the acquisition by Orsero S.p.A. of 80% of the capital of Blampin SAS.<\/p>\n
Orsero S.p.A., listed in Italy on the Euronext Star Milan segment and holding company of the Italian group of the same name, one of the leaders in Mediterranean Europe in the import and distribution of fresh fruit and vegetables, has acquired on 10 January 2023 an 80% stake on a fully diluted basis in the holding company of the French group Blampin, the leading operator in France in the wholesale markets with 12 sales platforms.<\/p>\n
This acquisition, together with Orsero’s acquisition of 100% of the capital of Capexo on the same date, allows the group to reach similar dimensions on the French market as on the Italian market, with an estimated total turnover of approximately \u20ac450 million, a significant coverage on all distribution channels and a commercial footprint focused on high margin products.<\/p>\n
