After crossing the English Channel and the Straits of Gibraltar in an Optimist yacht at the age of 15, and becoming the youngest ever participant in the Mini Transat in 2019, Violette was the youngest woman ever to take part in the Solitaire du Figaro<\/em>.<\/p>\n That’s where we met her and accompanied her through her last two seasons in the Figaro 3, which she carried out in parallel with her engineering studies at INSA in Rennes.<\/p>\n At 23, she is the youngest entrant in history and the youngest woman to take part in the Vend\u00e9e Globe 2024\/2025<\/strong>, the solo, non-stop, unassisted round-the-world race, which will last around 3 months.<\/p>\n Her boat, a 60-foot daggerboard IMOCA, DeVenir<\/strong>, won the 2008 Vend\u00e9e Globe with Hubert Dejoyaux (“Foncia”) and was 4th in the last Vend\u00e9e Globe with Jean Le Cam (“Yes We Cam !”).<\/p>\n She is determined to finish the round-the-world race among the best, and is already one of the greats of this mixed sport. https:\/\/www.apprentis-auteuil.org\/<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n https:\/\/www.vendeeglobe.org\/<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Vend\u00e9e Globe 2024 \u2013 2025.
