Virginie works in antitrust and economic law. She participates in full aspects of competition law including merger control, cartels, abuses of dominance as well as distribution law (commercial agreements, distribution network). Her practice encompasses transactional matters, counselling and litigation.
Virginie began her career in 2006 at Bredin Prat before joining Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier (2006-2012). In 2012-2013, she became the Head of Legal for Apple France, then became counsel at Magenta law firm. She joined SLVF in 2015, which eventually merged with Viguié Schmidt in July 2017 to become Viguié Schmidt & Associés.
She graduated from Paris I University where she earned a Master Degree in English and American Business Law and a Master Degree in Business Law. She is also Doctor in Law (The Merger Assessment Criteria under European and American Law). Virginie teaches European Antitrust Law in Paris II University and Sciences Po Paris. Virginie is also a member of the Association of the Competition Law Practitioners (Association des Avocats pratiquant le Droit de la Concurrence).
