Viguié Schmidt & Associés is very pleased to announce its contribution to the first 2019-2020 European VC Deal Terms survey. We partnered with three tech-savvy law firms in the UK, Germany & Switzerland — Withers tech, Schnittker Möllmann Partners (SMP) and Wenger & Vieli Ltd. — to reveal 14 key terms for European startups.
The survey found that there was close alignment in deal structures between the jurisdictions, and in our opinion, the most significant message this survey sends is that we all speak largely the same language when it comes to transactions and legal documentation, so investors should have confidence in deploying capital across borders, particularly in these tech-savvy jurisdictions.
